Terms & Conditions:
Booking
The signing of the booking form confirms the acceptance of the terms and
conditions set out below and shall be binding on the persons intending to occupy
the premises whether or not such persons have signed the booking form. Each
booking form will be confirmed as soon as reasonably possible after receipt of
the signed booking form and appropriate deposit.
Reservation Deposit and Payment of Balance
The non-refundable deposit of £100 ($150) per week is payable with the completed
booking form. The full balance is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the
date of departure, the owner reserving the right to cancel the booking if the
balance of the sum remains unpaid (7) seven weeks prior to the date of
departure. All telephone and internet bookings will be cancelled if the deposit
is not received with seven (7) days.
Security Deposit
In addition to the rental charge a security deposit is payable to cover
breakages or damage to the premises and or contents and excessive cleaning costs
other than those normally incurred in connection with the occupation of the
premises. This deposit is refundable 4 weeks following holiday, subject to
deductions to cover the expenses mentioned above.
Cancellation
If clients should cancel, or the owner cancels the arrangements due to client
failure to pay the balance within the time allowed before departure, a
cancellation charge will be levied based on the following:
Period before departure Cancellation charge
Sixty (60) to Ninety (90) days 50% of holiday costs
Within sixty (60) days 100% of holiday costs
Force Majeure
The owner accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss or
damage or alteration to the terms of the booking caused by events beyond the
owners control including (but without prejudice to the generality of the
forgoing) war, civil commotion, flight delays or cancellations, adverse weather
conditions, fire, flood or industrial dispute.
Complaints
In the unlikely event a problem should arise relating to the premises, the
guests should contact the owner’s representative. Details and contact numbers
are enclosed in the fact-file which can be found on arrival of the premises.
Availability
The premises will be available from 4:00 pm on the first day of the rental
period and must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure.
Liability
The owner of the premises accepts no responsibility whatsoever for personal
injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however
caused. Guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children in
or around the pool.
NO DIVING IN AND AROUND THE SWIMMING POOL.
Pool Alarms
In compliance with Florida law (Chapter 509) pool alarms are fitted to patio
doors and windows leading to pool areas for your children's safety. It is a
federal offense to tamper with these alarms in any way, if so, security deposit
will be forfeited.
Security Safe
There is a lockable security safe supplied for guests convenience. The owner or
owner's management company are not responsible for any items left within it at
any time.
Accommodation
We hold, as required by Florida state law, a Hotel/Motel license, and a Osceola
County Occupational License. This ensures that our home meets the required
safety, security and hygiene standards. Our home is inspected annually to
ensure compliance.
The accommodation booked can not be sub-let, shared, or assigned. Only the
shown on the booking form are permitted to stay in the property. Pets are not
permitted. For safety reasons and out of consideration for future guests please
refrain from smoking in the villa.
Guests are advised to:
Read the “house fact file” on their arrival at the villa.
To take out appropriate holiday insurance.
The American sewage plumbing system to the property is half the size of the
UK’s system. Therefore clients are advised to be very careful as to what is
flushed down the toilets.
Security
Upon leaving the home, please ensure all windows and all doors are securely
locked. Please ensure that all doors and windows are shut in order for the air
conditioning to work effectively and to keep fhe florida “biting bugs” out.
Telephone
Local telephone calls are free. Long distance calls can be paid for by the use
of a credit card or pre-paid telephone calling card.
Neighbors
The villa is located within a private secure residential estate. It is ideally
situated for all Orlando’s attractions, it is not a holiday estate, so please
respect our neighbors.
Bookings
All bookings made less than 56 days before departure are payable in full, and
all booking conditions apply.
On departure
Keys are to be returned to lock box on departure, failure to comply, will result
in a charge being applied to security deposit..
